Artist Information

I love art. I do not specialise in any one area but rather weave the thread of art through my whole life. Creative garden design, drawing, painting, thrown pottery, sculpture and music are all passions as is getting children involved in the creative process.
I run the 'Bee Creative' stall at Mangrove Mountain markets on the last Sunday of each month, where a different art activity is presented for children of all ages to get involved in. So far we have done Jackson Pollock splatter painting, origami, collage, painting with water guns and beading just to name a few.
My husband also runs a music shop on Sydney's northern beaches and together we run a production company which offers PA hire, event planning and management, MC'ing and can book live entertainment in many styles.
Bush tucker and bush medicine is also a family passion, and we are happy to pass on our knowledge and always keen to learn more!
We have chosen to home educate our two boys and have many wonderful home schooling adventures and are also a part of K.I.S.S - Keep It Simple Spencer - a group which makes jams, pickles, cordials and is interested in all aspects of sustainable living.
You can read all about our journey in my blog on www.downonthefreedomfarm.com
